Njugush was born in Meru and brought up by his father, Rev Bernard Ndegwa, and his mother, Jane Njambi. His father is a reverend at the PCEA church while his mother is a businesswoman Due to their father’s nature of work, the two brothers were raised in different places. First in Kikuyu, a place called Nguriunditu and Ruai, Joska.The family has also lived in Kikuyu town, Eldoret, and Mau Narok, among others.
