Breast Cancer
In 2012, Farr first had surgery to remove a precancerous breast tumor, and thought that was the end of it. She told people in a new interview that experience was just the start of a breast cancer journey that would ultimately include two more lumpectomies and radiation treatment.
Later, two years after that first tumor was detected, Farr was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer following a mammogram. She underwent another surgery to remove the tumor, but was not told she needed radiation treatment at the time, Farr told People.
She learned that it would be necessary two months later. “I was terrified because I knew I had a very small window,” she said.
