How to send money via Absa Online – ABSA Cash Send
♦ Login to Absa Online and select ‘Payments’
♦ Select ‘Pay’ and ‘CashSend Payment’
♦ Select the account you want to withdraw from, the amount you wish to send and the recipient’s cellphone number
♦ Create a 6-digit access code, which you must give to the recipient, and confirm the payment
How to Transfer Money using ABSA Cellphone Banking – ABSA Cash Send
♦ Login to Cellphone Banking and select ‘CashSend’ and ‘CashSend Payment’
♦ Logoff and wait for a secure url to be sent to you by SMS
♦ On the home page, enter the amount you want to transfer and the recipient’s cellphone number
♦ Create a 6-digit code, which you must provide the recipient with, and confirm the payment

♦ Visit an Absa ATM that offers the CashSend facility and select ‘CashSend’ followed by ‘CashSend Withdrawal’
♦ Enter the 10-digit reference number that has been sent to your cellphone
♦ Enter the 6-digit access code, together with the exact amount being sent
♦ Once the transaction has been verified, the money will be issued to you

ABSA Cash Send Access Code
You have to choose a six-digit PIN that you then send to the recipient, together with the amount of money you have transferred.
Absa then sends the recipient a unique 10-digit PIN.
They can then redeem the money at any Absa ATM by selecting CashSend and entering the six-digit PIN, the amount of money and the 10-digit PIN.
ABSA Cash Send Reversal
You can do a CashSend reversal by logging in to the channel you’ve used and cancelling the transaction. If you’ve used an ATM, you can find the option under ‘more options’. You can reverse the transaction via cellphone banking as well.
