Adesua Etomi Biography
Adesua Etomi is a Nigerian actress. Her performance in Falling earned her the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actress In A Drama.
In 2014, she starred in her first feature film Knocking On Heaven’s Door. Her film credits include The Arbitration, The Wedding Party, and Falling. Other notable films she has appeared in include A Soldier’s Story (2015), Out of Luck (2015), and Couple of Days (2016).
Etomi played Shiela in the fourth and fifth seasons of Shuga. A television soap opera about HIV/AIDS prevention.
Etomi began starring as Amaka Obiora, an undercover police officer, in Yemisi Wada’s crime series LasGidi Cops, which debuted in June 2016 on television.

She was born Tolulope Adesuwa Etomi on February 22, 1988, in Owerri, Imo State. As of 2019, she is 31 years old.

Her father is a soldier of Esan descent. Her mother is an engineer of Yoruba descent. Adesua is the youngest of three siblings.
Etomi attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos. While there she joined the drama club at age 7. Then Etomi moved to the United Kingdom when she was 13 years old.
Later, she obtained a diploma in physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts. From City College Coventry in 2004. After completing these courses in 2006 with triple distinctions, she studied drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton. Graduating with first-class honors.

“Etomi married” was a significant rumor for the tabloids of Nigeria. Nevertheless, it happened that it`s just another movie. Therefore, Adesua Etomi and Banky W were presented as a couple for another Nollywood film.
However, the rumors were later to be facts. As she got engaged to Banky W in February 2017. They both got traditionally married on 19 November, Court Wedding on 20 November and on 25 November (2017) they had the White Wedding in Cape Town, South Africa.

Adesua Etomi Video
Etomi-Wellington made her big-screen acting debut on April 14, 2014, when Knocking On Heaven’s Door was released in Nigerian cinemas. Her riveting performance as the abused Debbie announced Etomi as one to watch.
With stellar performances first as Layo in Brave and as Sharon in Gidi Up Season 2, Adesua proved to critics that she had the requisite acting chops.
In August 2015, she joined the cast of MTV’s HIV/AIDS edutainment series Shuga 4 as Sheila. Then in October 2015, Adesua was unveiled as a cast member of a Crime and Investigative drama series titled Special Crimes Unit. Las Gidi Cops which was to debut in February 2016.
On the big screen, Adesua Etomi would deliver another emotionally gripping performance. This time as Muna in the feature film; Falling. It was released theatrically in September 2015. And as already mentioned, this earned her the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Best Actress In A Drama Award.

Her 2015 cinema run was followed by nationwide releases for A Soldier’s Story. That is in October 2015. Then Inkblot’s Out Of Luck on December 4, 2015.
In February 2016 Etomi would return to Nigerian cinemas with Tolu Tanner’s Couple Of Days. Which currently holds the Nigerian box office record for the most tickets sold in one day (February 14, 2016).
