Justine Nameere Biography
Born: April 17, 1989
On screen she is as serious as the context of the show, which, I discovered, is not quite different from her off screen personality. Used to asking the questions and steering the show, I must confess it was quite a challenge being on the questioning side with her as my guest during our chat for this interview.
On when she hopes to get married, she happily says she is dating “the most understanding and best man in the world” and hopes to settle soon, because family is the most important unit in society. She also plans to practice law alongside her TV career in future.
Education: Went to Namugongo Boarding for primary education. Went to Kings College Budo, where she was a member of the Drama club and School band. She joined Law Development Center for a diploma in law, graduating with first class honours. She also holds a certificate in Business Administration from MUBS and another certificate in counselling and guidance from KIU. She is currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in law at MUK.
Work Experience: She has worked as a court clerk at Lukaaya Magistrate court in Masaka -2011, Radio presenter with Best FM in Masaka, hosting the youth show on positive living in 2009. She has hosted and produced Life stories from October 2012 to date. She is also the Director – Voices of the Pearl, the NGO she started in 2012.
Role Models: She draws so much inspiration from Speaker Rebecca Kadaga, and Christine Amanpour of CNN. She also hopes to be remembered as someone who helped people feel that it is all going to be alright.
