He began his career in stand-up comedy. He built up his radio profession in the Northeast, working at stations, for example, WABC, WNBC, among others.

His radio career debuted when WABC hired him for the morning drive time slot. In 1987, he moved to WNBC, but his occupation there would be short when NBC announced in 1988 it would close its radio division. His voice was the last to be heard, when WNBC went off the air for the last time on October 7, 1988.

He had been syndicated nationally, beginning with his contribution with Daynet, an endeavor made by Colmes and other territorial radio hosts. Daynet was offered to Major Networks, Inc. in 1994. He kept his own show, which was distributed by Fox News Radio.
