Before that, she held anchor and reporter positions at various stations, including WPBF West Palm Beach, Fla.; WFAA Dallas; KCEN Waco, Texas; and KGNS Laredo, Texas.
“Joining KTBC is a dream come true,” Salinas said. “My family and I have been blessed with the opportunity to call Austin home.” Salinas replaces Loriana Hernandez, who departed Fox 7 earlier this month to be with her husband, Cesar Aldama, who lives in Washington, D.C. Hernandez had been with the Fox-owned station for seven years.
