She is known for her role as Angie Watts in the EastEnders soap opera of the BBC from 1985 to 1988. she reached number four in the UK singles chart in 1986 with “Anyone Can Fall in Love,” a song based on EastEnders ‘ theme music in Stepney, London.

Anita’s acting career started when she was cast in the popular crime-drama television series ‘ EastEnders’ to play the role of Angie Watts. From 1985 to 1988, she appeared in 253 episodes. Meanwhile, she also released the song ‘ Anyone Can Fall in Love.’ The song, produced by musician Brian May, was based on’ EastEnders ‘ theme music.
She played Cath in six episodes of the popular TV series ‘ Split Ends ‘ in 1989. She landed another recurring role in 1994 when she was cast to play Gertie in a television mini-series called ‘ Smokescreen. ‘ She was also seen in three films in the same year, namely ‘ Beyond Bedlam, ‘ ‘ Seaview Knights ‘ and ‘ The Fireboy ‘ (TV film).
