Hargrove was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played for the Rams for two seasons. He joined the Buffalo Bills in 2006 but was waived during the season. After being waived by the Bills, Hargrove signed with the Green Bay Packers for the remainder of the 2006 season and part of the 2007 season.
