Amber Lawrence

Amber Lawrence is an Australian country music singer-songwriter, with five albums, an EP and a number of awards to her credit. After being nominated six times previously, she won the Golden Guitar Award for Female Artist of the Year in 2015 for her fourth album, Superheroes.

Amber Lawrence recent success follows the launch of her fourth album Superheroes, which debuted at number three on the ARIA Country Charts. The album included hit singles ‘Superhero’ and ‘The Lifesaver’ (which won Contemporary Lyric of the Year at the 2015 Bush Laureate Awards).

Amber has released 15 singles over the course of her career that have either reached #1 or Top 5 on the Country Music Radio Chart and the CMC Video charts. She has received 12 country music awards, eight Golden Guitar nominations and two APRA nominations.

After graduating from Winona State University in 2001, Amber Lawrence started her legal career working as a family law legal assistant for Attorney Lawrence Downing. Motivated by the work done by Mr. Downing and the other attorneys at his firm, Amber went on to attend law school at Hamline University School of Law.

During law school, Amber continued working full-time as a family law legal assistant. Upon graduating from Hamline in 2006, Amber began serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph F. Wieners in Olmsted County. At the conclusion of her judicial clerkship in October of 2007, Amber returned to work with Mr. Downing as a family law attorney.
