Career
Dundee gained recognition in the Memphis Territory, where he had notable partnerships and rivalries, especially with Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Valiant. In 1987, Dundee and Lawler teamed up in the American Wrestling Association, securing the AWA World Tag Team Championship twice.
As a singles wrestler, Dundee held the Southern Heavyweight Championship multiple times between 1975 and 1985. He also formed a successful duo with “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel, causing a stir in Tennessee.
Dundee briefly appeared in NWA’s Jim Crockett Promotions, Central States Wrestling, and Florida Championship Wrestling in 1986, engaging in partnerships with Jimmy Garvin and feuds with Sam Houston. In the early 1990s, he took on the role of Sir William, managing Lord Steven Regal in World Championship Wrestling.
