Bob Hogue is an American athletic conference commissioner, author, columnist, and sportscaster. He is also a former Republican member of the Hawaii State Senate.
Bob represents the 24th district of Kailua-Kaneohe for six years from 2000 to 2006. He was the Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district, to replace Ed Case. Unfortunately, he lost in the 2006 general election to former Lieutenant Governor Mazie Hirono. Hogue is currently the commissioner of the Pacific West Conference, a position he has held since 2007.

He was the lead sportscaster with three top-rated news stations such as; KWWL-TV in Waterloo, Iowa and the Iowa Television Network (1979–1984), KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California (1984–1988), and KHON-TV in Honolulu, Hawaii (1988–1999).
He worked at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa, KFBB-TV in Great Falls, Montana. Additionally, he worked at various radio stations in Honolulu, HI, Sacramento, CA, and Prescott, AZ.
