Gordon Caplan Biography
Gordon Caplan (Gordon R. Caplan) is an American attorney who was born and brought up in the US. He gained major fame for being indicted in the “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal. He has been serving as the co-chair of the international law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Caplan had played a key role in building up the firm’s private equity practice. Moreover, thanks to his incredible performance, he had received various awards and honors including 2018’s “Dealmaker of the Year” by The American Lawyer, one of the top 50 merger and acquisition lawyers by the Global M&A Network, and a private equity MVP by Law360.
