Carlos grew up in Montebello, a city just east of Los Angeles. Before joining the ABC30 Action News team in August of 2011, Carlos was a reporter and bureau chief for KWTX News 10 in Waco, TX.
During that time, he covered stories from the largest U.S. military base in the world, including the aftermath of the Fort Hood massacre. Prior to this, Carlos also briefly reported for WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee through RTDNA’s Rob Sunde Fellowship.
