She was a four-year starter for the team and also played influential roles in the team’s qualification to two Southern Section Division IV titles.Since February 2013 when she first played for the United States senior team, Christen has featured more than 100 times for the team and netted over 45 goals.

At the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada, Christen won a gold medal with the US women’s national soccer team. Christen Press also participated in the US Youth Soccer Association’s national championship tournament and walked home with the Golden Boot for most goals scored.

She currently plays for Utah Royals FC. She debuted for the team on 27th June in a game against the Seattle Reign. In 2018, she scored only 2 goals after featuring in 11 games for the Royals. In her junior year, the Los Angeles-born soccer star was awarded the 2010 Hermann Trophy for being the nation’s top college soccer player after her senior year. She also got a mention as Pac-10 Player of the Year and Soccer America Player of the Year. In addition, she emerged the winner of the Pac-10’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year for soccer, Academic All-America honors, National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) first-team All-American honors, and All-Pac-10 first-team, for completing her college career with 500 shots, 10 game-winning goals, 41 assists, 71 goals, and 26 single-season records for goals.
