Christian batch (Adela Christian Bach Bottino) was an Argentinean actress and telenovelas producer. The mother of two was married to Mexican actor, producer, and director Humberto Zurita.
After graduating with a degree in law Christian Bach moved to Mexico to become an actress. She started working in plays and in films, where her voice was often dubbed to conceal her Argentine accent. She obtained a small role in the worldwide hit telenovela Los Ricos también lloran in 1979 and four years later a starring role in the successful Bodas de Odio. In 1986 she co-starred with Zurita in DE Pura Sangre and got married the same year. The two started their own production company, ZUBA Producciones, Two years later they produced two telenovelas for the station, La chacala and Azul Tequila, a successful production that launched the career of Bárbara Mori and Mauricio Ochmann.

Dukes of Hazzard star Catherine Bach has opened up about her husband’s death, nearly two years after he committed suicide.
The 57-year-old, who played Daisy Duke in the Eighties TV show, has talked about the devastating loss of Peter Lopez who shot himself in the head in April 2010.
In a shocking revelation, the actress says police originally thought she was the victim after they realised a gun had gone off on her San Fernando, California property.
Bach tells Entertainment Tonight: ‘There was somebody that was stalking me at that point and the police thought that this person had found me and that the gunshot that went off was for me, not for Peter.
‘So it was completely shocking and nobody understood what had happened, especially not me because we were very happy.’
Bach insists there were no signs that her husband of 19 years was depressed or that he planned to take his own life.
‘He was very happy with his family and very proud of his girls,’ the mother-of-two says.
‘We had a deep love…We were together. We were very happy for 19 years.
Bach says that other people who saw her husband in the days before he died cannot believe that he was suicidal.
She says: ‘That’s what’s so crazy about this. There’s [sic] no signs. Peter didn’t drink, didn’t take drugs.
‘I was just with our dentist…a couple of days ago and she said: “I had just examined Peter a week ago”.
‘That doesn’t happen. Somebody doesn’t get their teeth cleaned when they’re going to do something like that.’
Lopez, 60, was well known in the Hollywood community. The music lawyer’s former clients include Michael Jackson, The Eagles and Michael Buble.
In fact, Bach says the family had made plans to dine with singer-songwriter Ken ‘Babyface’ Edmonds that week.
She says: ‘It’s hard stuff because one day we were so happy and everything was great.
‘We were going to have dinner that night. We were having dinner the next night with Babyface and his family.
‘And the next day we were going to church and we were going here and Peter was going to play golf and all of a sudden ca-boo-ey.’
In addition to Bach, Lopez left behind two daughters, Sophia, and Laura who were 14 and 11 at the time of their father’s death.
