She is best known as a founding member of the R&B/pop group En Vogue, one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time. In 2012, Herron and fellow member Terry Ellis sued former member Maxine Jones requesting $1 million for unlawful use of the title, although the claim for damages was eventually found to be without merit, since Herron and Ellis could not prove damage done to the business by the use of the title by Jones (although Robinson was named in the suit, she was not directly engaged in the conflict as sh However, the judge decided to give Herron and Ellis complete rights to the name “En Vogue.”
In July 2014, together with fellow member Ellis and Rhona Bennett, Herron signed to Pyramid Records. An En Vogue Christmas was published in November 2014. Rufftown Entertainment lodged a lawsuit against En Vogue in February 2015, naming Herron and Ellis for contract infringement. Rufftown owner Rene Moore is looking from the group for $310 million.
