Slaton is a former American professional soccer player who is currently working as a soccer analyst for Major League Soccer Fox Sports, the Pac-12 Network, and Season Pass.
Slaton played for five years at the United States women’s national soccer team from 2000 to 2005, winning a bronze medal at the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. Also, Slaton played for Olympique Lyonnais in France and the Carolina Courage in the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA).
In 2003, Slaton retired as a soccer player and enrolled at Northwestern University for her master’s degree in sports administration while serving as an assistant women’s soccer coach at the University.
