Dante Calabria Career
Calabria was playing college basketball at North Carolina underneath coach Dean Smith from 1992 to 1996. He was a partner of the Tar Heels’ 1993 national championship team. He proceeded to Europe for his professional career, paying a good part of it in the Italian Serie A. A double national of the United States and Italy, he used to play for the Italy national basketball team.

Calabria was prescribed director of basketball operations at UNC Wilmington underneath coach Buzz Peterson in 2011. He was transferred to a maximum assistant role with the release of Brooks Lee in 2012. Calabria, later on, had coaching tours at Montverde Academy in Florida and at Basket Taranto in Italy, prior to entering NAIA school Keiser University as an assistant coach under Rollie Massimino.
