Gregory Goodrich (husband to Deanne)died suddenly on August 25. 2010. He was born on Dec. 17. 1959 in Detroit, MI. Most of his childhood was spent in West Bloomfield, MI where he met his future wife, Deanne, and the couple later settled in the St. Louis area.
Greg is survived by his wife, Deanne; son, Griffin; mother, Pam Goodrich; brother, Gavan (Cindy); brothers-in-law, Dave Bellottie (Shawn), Gregory Lane (Daniela), Jeff Lane (Illyse); father-in-law, Ray Lane (Carolyn) and several nieces and nephews whom he adored.
Goodrich was preceded in death by his father Gordon and his sister Shawn. Mr. Goodrich was well known and respected in the local restaurant, catering, and hospitality industry. Greg was a devoted husband and father who cherished his time with family and friends.
He was the ultimate, genuine, all-around good guy-the kind of person who could crack the best joke, cook the best meal, and light up a room with engaging conversation. His favorite pastime was sharing countless hours helping to fulfill Griffin’s baseball dreams. He will truly be missed. Gregory Goodrich died at the age of 50 years old.
In a death notice, Lane described her late husband as a devoted husband and father whose favorite pastime was helping son Griffin with his baseball dreams. A celebration of Greg’s life was conducted at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood on August 29.2010.
