On Tuesday 25 February 2020, the high-profile TV anchor announced a joint significant donation with Meredith Corp which owns her former employer, WSMV Channel 4 to Nashville Public Media, the entity behind the Banner’s relaunch that’s spearheaded by veteran journalist Steve Cavendish. According to a news release, Kalodimos and Meredith made separate donations to the nonprofit and to the nonpartisan Tennessee Coalition for Open Government.
