Denise Richards Biography
Denise Richards (Denise Lee Richards) is an American actress and former fashion model. She is best known for her role as Bond girl Christmas Jones, in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999).
At the age of 15, Denise appeared in the U.S. version of the music video “The Captain of Her Heart” by Double. After graduating from high school, she began working as a model and traveled to big cities such as Paris, New York, and Tokyo to do photo shoots and commercials.
Denise spent the majority of the 1990s appearing in lower-budget films and television shows such as Saved by the Bell, television movies, and guest starring in episodes of several television shows such as Married… with Children (1991), a five-second walk through.
She later made guest appearances in television shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210 (1992), Seinfeld (1993), Lois and Clark (1994) and a guest-arc in Melrose Place (1996).
Richards’ first starring role in a wide theatrical release was Starship Troopers in 1997 for which she was nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Female Newcomer. She followed this with a role in Wild Things.
In 1998, Richards appeared in the music video for the Blues Traveler song “Canadian Rose”. In 1999, she starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in the beauty pageant satire, Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her, playing a spoiled princess, was praised for her performance by Los Angeles Times for being “as rightly nasty as she is pretty”.
In 2001, she appeared as Jennifer Duncan in four episodes of Spin City, a love interest of Charlie Sheen’s character. Denise starred as Sheen’s character’s ex-girlfriend two years later in two episodes of Two and a Half Men. In 2005, she starred in the short-lived UPN series Sex, Love & Secrets. She appeared in films such as Valentine (2001), Undercover Brother (2002) and Scary Movie 3 (2003).

In 2008, Denise reunited with her Wild Things on-screen mother Theresa Russell in Jolene. She appeared on the 8th season of Dancing with the Stars, paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She was eliminated second on March 24, 2009.
In 2010, Richards joined the cast of Blue Mountain State, a Spike comedy series.

In September 2011, she reportedly turned down $100,000 to appear as an ex-girlfriend at Charlie’s funeral in Two and a Half Men. A month later, Denise began filming a guest spot for an episode for the sixth season of NBC comedy 30 Rock.
In 2012, she joined the cast of ABC Family pilot, Twisted (formerly Socio). In February 2013, ABC Family commissioned the drama for a full series.

Denise Richards Wedding
First Marriage | Charlie Sheen Denise Richards
Denise Richards has been married twice. She was first married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 – 2006.
She first met actor Charlie Sheen on the set of Loaded Weapon 1 in 1991. The two were engaged on December 26, 2001, and married on June 15, 2002, at the estate of Spin City creator Gary David Goldberg. They have two daughters together.
In March 2005, while Denise was pregnant with their second daughter, she filed for divorce from Sheen. They briefly reconciled and sought marriage counselling.
However, on January 4, 2006, Denise’s representative announced that she was continuing with the divorce. She later sought a restraining order against Sheen, alleging death threats against her.
On April 19, 2006, she filed formal legal papers seeking a divorce from Sheen under the laws of the state of California. On November 30, 2006, Denise and Sheen’s divorce became final, with Sheen being ordered to stay 300 feet away from his ex-wife and their daughters, except during supervised visits.
In 2008, Denise included her and Sheen’s two daughters in her confessional reality program on E!, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, which premiered on May 26, 2008. Sheen deemed her plans “greedy, vain and exploitative”.
On January 25, 2008, Denise won a court case against Sheen so that she could include their daughters in the show. When a judge rejected Sheen’s request to block it, he urged fans to boycott it.
An agreement was reached between Richards and Sheen in the custody of the children, with Sheen stating in April 2009 that “we had to do what’s best for the girls”.
In May 2010, Denise was handed over custody of her and Sheen’s two daughters by Sheen. They signed a written agreement stating that she now has sole legal custody of Sam and Lola. The two previously had joint legal custody of the girls and Denise wanted sole custody, given Sheen’s then “marital turmoil (with his third wife Brooke Mueller), sobriety issues, and criminal problems”. According to sources, Sheen did not fight about signing the agreement.
By mid-2012, Denise and Sheen were on good terms, often spending time together with their children. In 2012, Sheen made a cameo appearance in her movie Madea’s Witness Protection and she appeared in Sheen’s television series, Anger Management on the FX network.
In a move supported by Sheen, in May 2013, Denise was awarded temporary custody of the twin sons born in 2009 to Sheen and Mueller, after the children were removed from Mueller’s home by child protective services due to concerns over drug use.
Denise had previously cared for the children on other occasions as well, including during Mueller’s December 2012 stint in rehab for addiction to Adderall.

In April 2019 on all new Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Denise and her husband Aaron Phypers installed security cameras outside their homes — an idea Richards said she came up with to prevent Sami from going out to meet boys without her permission.
“Sami’s getting into high school and new school, new boys,” Richards explained to audiences. “That’s when kids usually start sneaking out. I started sneaking out when I was 15 years old, so I know my kid’s going to sneak out. So I’m putting cameras up so I can catch her. … We’ll be able to see people sneak out or sneak in.”
The move wasn’t something Sami was too happy about, according to Richards.
“She’s so mad about this,” Richards told Phypers — whom she met in 2017 and wed last September. “But whatever. At least we’re honest! I could have hid these.”
Denise Richards Adopted Daughter
In June 2011, Denise adopted a third daughter, Eloise Joni Richards as a single parent. Her middle name is that of Richards’ mother, who died from cancer in December 2007. Denise adopted her at birth domestically within the United States, following a two-year adoption process.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph in April 2019, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke candidly about plastic surgery.
While she’s open about having had breast implants, Denise Richards said people often wrongly accuse her of tampering with her face. She said, “I have only done my boobs and I am very open and honest about that.”
“I have had the same nose if people look it up, and the lips. I don’t do Botox or fillers. And when people watch the show, my face moves, so much that it is distracting actually.”
“I am with these beautiful women who look flawless all the time and I don’t do that stuff.”
It’s the second time Denise has spoken honestly about plastic surgery this month.
Last week, she corrected a troll on Twitter who accused her of having had botched plastic surgery.

Denise Richards News
Denise Richards insists Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills isn’t scripted and reveals NOTHING is off limits during filming
Denise made her debut on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in March 2019.
And having been a long-time fan of the show before stepping onto set, Denise Richards, 48, has revealed she was ‘pleasantly surprised’ to discover the Bravo show isn’t scripted.
In an interview on Wednesday’s episode of The Project, the US star, who is currently in Australia promoting the ninth season of the reality series, was quizzed about whether her fellow co-stars are ‘faking it.’
‘I wouldn’t say they’re faking it. I was actually pleasantly surprised to learn it is not set up,’ the mother-of-three said.
‘I thought for sure this show has to be softly scripted with all the drama with the women,’ she explained before confirming: ‘It’s not’.
‘It’s definitely not a scripted show at all. I was very surprised by that.’
The Drop Dead Gorgeous favourite also revealed nothing is off limits during filming.
‘I’m myself on it. I’m not trying to play a character. I don’t think of us as a cast. I think of us as just a group of women,’ she said.
‘I feel like you have to just put yourself out there.
‘At the moment so far, I haven’t put restrictions on production as far as what they can and can’t shoot.’
‘I’ve been a pretty open book.’
Denise joined the cast of the hit Bravo series earlier this year, and has been open about her past in episodes of the show.
