Qudaibergen is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university-trained in classical as well as contemporary music and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range, encompassing 6 octaves and 1 note. He has performed songs in thirteen languages. Qudaibergen began his career in 2010 but gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and in post-Soviet countries in 2015.
Upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus. He has since toured extensively throughout Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and other countries. In 2017, he participated in the Chinese singing competition Singer, where he quickly became a fan favorite. He finished the competition in second place, but his popularity in China skyrocketed.
In 2019, Qudaibergen participated in the American singing competition The World’s Best, where he won the audience vote in every episode. However, he withdrew from the competition early, stating that he wanted to give way to the younger participants.
