Kent’s career as a DJ became when he was young and used to mix in the house. He gained popularity by mixing during valentine’s and 21st birthday parties. He teamed up with the musical-minded duo, Tumi and Euphonik, and together they formed Kentphonik.
Together, they bowled over the nation when Kentphonik’s tracks, ‘Uwrongo’ and ‘Masingita’ featured on the eminent producer, DJ Fresh’s album – Definition Of House, Vol 2 & 3 respectively.
In 2007, he released his solo debut album called “Mixing Business with pleasure reloaded” under the record label he co-owns.
