Dr. Shepherd is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has performed as District V Chair and Committee Member for the Gynecologic Practice Committee for 2010-2012. As an avid member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, she acted on the ad hoc review committee for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology.
Currently, Dr. Shepherd was selected to be the Minority Advocacy and Public Affairs Chair on the Executive Board for the Pass the Pearls.
