Elani Biography
Elani is a Kenyan African pop group that consists of three members; Wambui Ngugi’ Bryan Cheya and Maureen Kunga. They released their first debut single ‘Jana Usiku’ in November 2013.

Formation
Elani family, team, band, group and a reflection of what real music , was born in born in 2008 in heart of Kenya finest capital city, Nairobi, where they started writing songs out of fun and soon than later they started falling in love with what they had written and created, with people around them starting to call them for shows ever since.
Education
Elani band well known for being a trio of scholars met while still as students at the Alliance Francaise , Nairobi and quickly becoming friends and since then their bond grew into realizing that they shared a common passion for Music.
Maureen Kunga is a lawyer, Wambui Ngugi has done Acturial Science and Bryan Chweya is an advocate at the High court of Kenya.

Elani, the young, funky and fresh Urban Afro Band from Bryan who is a singer, musician and songwriter for the band, Wambui on the other hand is a female vocalist, songwriter and singer, not to forgetting the one and only Maureen, the female vocalist, singer and also songwriter for Elani.
Hobby
Elani the hottest band as a team loves unwinding by singing and hanging out in the studio while playing musical instruments like Guitar which Maureen and Bryan are good at and Wambui plays piano for being goods with the keys. With band interests in making, living and loving music, attending jam sessions and discovering new music.In addition, they have an inspiration and admiration of artists like Davido, Zahara, Sauti Sol, Wizkid, Dbanj, P square, Tiwa Savage, Salif Keita, Diamond Platnumz, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran, who they would not mind and love to have a collaboration with.
Fashionista
Elani family has quit a huge sense of fashion which is clearly depicted even in the music videos where for Maureen her style is comfortable and functional elegance; for Bryan, his style is simple provided he looks good and feels good and lastly, for the cheerful Wambui, her style is how she feels when she wakes up. If she feels pretty she dresses pretty. If she feel sexy she dresses sexy. If she feel gangsta, she dresses gangsta!
