Emily Beecham is an actress from England. She is famous for the title role in the 2017 film Daphne, Into The Badlands and Pulse.
Additionally, she is known for her roles in the Coen Brothers 2016 comedy movie Hail, Caesar! and for the AMC television series Into the Badlands.
Emily Beecham Actress Career
She began accepting professional acting opportunities, in her final year at LAMDA. Her debut appearance occurring in the 2006 Tv thriller film, Bon Voyage and in the British supernatural TV series, Afterlife. In the month to come, she had the premiere of her first feature film, Bon Voyage. The film received positive acclaim after its October debut on ITV. The film was the winner of the Golden Nymph award at the June 2007 Monte Carlo Television Festival.
In mid-2007, got the leading role in her independent film The Calling. For her performances in the film, she won the Best Actress Award for at London Independent Film Festival. Additionally, she won the Edinburgh International Film Festival Trailblazer Award. She had her debut professional stage performance in Ian McHugh’s debut play, How to Curse, at the Bush Theatre in Shepherd’s Bush, London that same year. Josie Rourke, the theatre’s artistic director was the director behind the play. She was the recipient of the Best Actress award at the 2011 London Independent Film Festival.
She has appeared in a number of TV series, including Agatha Christie’s Marple, Tess of The D’Urbervilles, and The Street. Nylon magazine listed her as one of 55 “Faces of the Future”, in their “Young Hollywood” issue, with the photograph captioned “Young Hollywood London”. In 2013, she starred as Caro Allingham in the BBC TV series, The Village.
