‘Fumble!’ Multiple ex-Cowboys stars in hilarious NFL 100 ad during Super Bowl
The first half of Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta, Ga., didn’t give much for fans who love high-scoring games to cheer about, as the New England Patriots took a 3-0 lead over the Los Angeles Rams headed to the locker room.
But for Dallas Cowboys fans, there was plenty to smile — and laugh — about during the early stages of halftime.
Former Dallas Cowboys stars Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith and Deion Sanders all starred in a league ad depicting NFL players — past and present — attending an NFL100 gala dinner hosted by league commissioner Roger Goodell, only for things to turn a tad bit competitive once a decorative football tumbled off the top of a cake and onto the ground below.
Others to have a cameo in the ad included former Colts and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Pittsburgh Steelers great Terry Bradshaw, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and even Cleveland Browns quarterback and 2017 Oklahoma Heisman Trophy winner, Baker Mayfield.
Will it end up being the Super Bowl ad to remember this year? We’ll know for sure by the end of the evening. Until then, plenty of football — and ad-time — is left to be watched.
