Erin started her broadcasting career in August 2002, working as a news anchor and reporter for Time Warner Cable News. After spending 2 years at the station, Erin left to join ABC11 Eyewitness News in August 2004. She worked for Eyewitness for one year and left in 2005 to join her current station, 6abc, in January 2006.
Erin joined 6ABC in January 2006 from ABC11 Eyewitness News. She started working for 6ABC s a general assignment reporter. At first, she took a leave from the station in 2010 so as to focus on her family. However, she returned in 2013 but was working as a part-time anchor and reporter. Later on, in mid-2017, O’Hearn stopped appearing on the 6ABC-TV abruptly. Erin is yet to give a valid reason for this.
