Brooke Vincent Biography
Brooke Vincent (Brooke Levi Vincent) was born on 4th June 1992 in Audenshaw, United Kingdom. She is a model, musician and actress popularly known for her role as Sophie Webster in Coronation Street.
She attended Fairfield High School for Girls, and later she studied drama at college in Manchester. Vincent’s first television appearance was as a guest character, Casey Emma Glass, in the TV series, The League of Gentlemen.
Vincent joined long-running British soap-opera Coronation Street in April 2004 as the third actress to play Sophie Webster, replacing Emma Woodward who decided to leave the soap at the end of 2003. Shortly after landing the role of Sophie in Coronation Street, she appeared on Children in Need. On 30 October 2017, Brooke was announced by ITV as the first contestant to be taking part in 2018’s reboot of Dancing On Ice.
Vincent was nominated for the award for Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress for her portrayal of Sophie at The British Soap Awards 2008. At the 2008 Inside Soap Awards, Vincent was nominated in the category “Best Young Actor”.

Brooke Vincent has revealed one of the hardships of growing up in the spotlight is being targeted by trolls, as she admitted she’s received a slew of horrible comments.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the actress revealed: ‘Growing up I had bad skin so they go for that, calling me spotty.’
‘Social media has given people the opportunity to sit at home in their comfort zone writing these things, “I don’t like this, I don’t like that” They want to be offended by something!’
Brooke discussed her own experiences with trolling in relation to the current Coronation Street storyline which has seen her on-screen mother Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) become targeted by trolls.
The soap starlet – who plays Sophie Webster – explained: ‘Sally is a counsellor so she is on social media and she’s getting abuse and people are trolling her.
