Emilie de Ravin
Emilie de Ravin was born on 27th December 1981, she is an Australian actress. Emilie de Ravin has played Tess Harding on Roswell and Claire Littleton on the ABC drama Lost. In 2012 she guest-starred as Belle Gold on the ABC drama Once Upon a Time and became a series regular beginning with season two.
Her first starring role was on the fantasy drama, BeastMaster in 1999. When her agent told her of a role in the US, as newcomer Tess in the hit series Roswell, she flew out and auditioned. After landing the role, she was written out of BeastMaster and started work as “Tess”, an alien. She relocated to California and was on Roswell before she even owned an apartment.
De Ravin’s film credits include Santa’s Slay, The Hills Have Eyes and Ball Don’t Lie. She starred as Emily, the heroin-addicted ex-girlfriend of Brendan Frye, in the neo-noir film Brick. She had a cameo in Public Enemies and more recently starred in Remember Me. De Ravin has been included on Maxim’s Hot 100 list three times: No. 47, No. 65 and No. 68.
De Ravin’s first major role was a recurring part as Curupira in the TV series Beastmaster. She went on to appear as alien/human hybrid Tess Harding in the teen television series, Roswell. She landed this role one month after moving to Los Angeles at the age of 18.
