Erik Fosnes Beretninger Om Beskyttelse/Reports on protection 1
The book was released in 2009 as his third novel. Here the reader is presented for a bunch of dramatic stories, four independent reports of strange coincidences. Besides, there are both visible and invisible relationships between them, both in the theme and in action. It is a thorough and compelling novel by him. With musicality and elegance changes the perspective between the great story and the grandeur of the little one. The action is taking place in several countries to different historical times, with a nice fate pattern that weaves people, cultures and schedules together. Erik Fosnes Hansen received the Book Dealers Award for this book.
It is such a rich and well-traveled text, with so many poetic sequences and dramatic appearances, so full of seriousness and smile, knowledge and imagination and elegant hints that it’s impossible not to be impressed with both the ambition and the ambition artistic design of the fabric.
Erik Fosnes Hansen Et/A Lobster Life
A lobster life was published in 2016.It is the many-faceted story, alternating between tragedy and comedy. It is about coming of age, reaching a bit further than you thought you could, understanding what you do not understand, and about the distance that can occur between people who love each other. Through Exquisitely drawn characters, he shows how self-deceit can be a means of survival and how we lie to ourselves and to others because being honest is more difficult. In this epic story the author gives us a unique portrayal of the time and a horrifying presentation of an unusual family.
The book is about Sedd, a boy on the verge of adulthood, and about the hotel in the Norwegian mountains that is his home. He is put on a hard trial as he tries to blow life into a dying chief executive. Equipped with the Red Cross Relief Corps’ revival course, 14-year-old makes a heroic effort, but in no use. Perhaps the old bank manager’s death is the new time in the hotel Fåvnesheim, an old-fashioned high-mountain hotel with proud traditions, but now suffering from the fact that tourism is moving to ‘the infernal syllable’ that Sedd’s grandfather, the hotel director, usually says.
