Heidi Klum Career- Heidi Klum Model
Klum has been featured on the cover of French, German, Portuguese and Spanish Vogue magazines, as well as Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire, Glamour and Russian Harper’s Bazaar magazines. She became widely known after appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and for her work with Victoria’s Secret as an “Angel”.
Klum hosted the 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows. On 1 October 2010, the New York Post reported in its “Page Six” gossip column that Klum would be leaving Victoria’s Secret, which was later confirmed by Klum.
In addition to working with well-known photographers on her first husband’s Sports Illustrated shoots, she was the object and subject of Joanne Gair body painting works in several editions from 1997 to 2010. She wrote the foreword to Gair’s book of body paint work, Body Painting, Masterpieces.
Klum was the face of Givenchy’s Amarige fragrance, and she also served as a spokesmodel for McDonald’s, Braun, Dannon, H & M, and Liz Claiborne. Since 2007, she has been a celebrity spokesmodel for Jordache and Volkswagen. In addition to modeling, she has appeared in several TV shows, including Spin City, Sex and the City, Yes, Dear, and How I Met Your Mother.
She had a role as an ill-tempered hair model in the movie Blow Dry, played a giantess in the movie Ella Enchanted and was cast as Ursula Andress in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. She had cameo appearances in the films The Devil Wears Prada and Perfect Stranger. Her other projects include dance and video games. She is featured in the 2003 video game James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, where she plays the villain Dr. Katya Nadanova.
She has appeared in several music videos, including Jamiroquai’s video “Love Foolosophy” from their album A Funk Odyssey, Kelis’s “Young, Fresh n’ New”, off her second 2001 album Wanderland and, most recently, the second video for her then husband Seal’s song “Secret” off his 2010 album Seal 6: Commitment.
The latter video depicts the married couple sharing intimate moments while naked in bed; the concept was Klum’s idea. In July 2007, having earned US$8 million in the previous 16 months, Klum was named by Forbes as third on the list of the World’s 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.
Forbes, in 2008, estimated her income at US$16 million, putting Klum in first place. For 2007, Forbes estimated her income at US$14 million. Klum is signed to IMG Models in New York City. In 2008, Klum was a featured guest on an American Volkswagen commercial, where she was interviewed by a black Beetle.
When she commented that German engineering is so sexy, she caused the Beetle to blush and turn red. She has been a part of several commercials for Volkswagen and McDonald’s on German television. In November 2008, Klum appeared in two versions of a Guitar Hero World Tour commercial, wherein she did a take on Tom Cruise’s iconic underwear dancing scene in Risky Business.
In both versions, she lip-synced to Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll” while dancing around the living room with the wireless guitar controller. In October 2009, Klum was the often-nude one-woman subject of Heidilicious, a photo book by photographer Rankin.
Klum ventured into web-based videos, starring in “SPIKED HEEL: Supermodels Battle the Forces of Evil”. The web-series starred model Coco Rocha and was directed by fashion documentarian Doug Keeve. In the story, Klum aka ‘The Kluminator,’and her stylish sidekick Coco “The Sassy Superhero” Rocha battle the evil Dr. Faux Pas who is plotting to destroy Fashion Week.
The heroines employ everything from blow-dryer guns to fist fights, in order to thwart Dr. Faux Pas’ dastardly plans. The Kluminator and Girl Wonder avoid a chain of fashion disasters to neutralize a death ray that threatens to vaporize the community of fashionistas gathered in Bryant Park.
In 2010, Klum became the new face and creative advisor for European cosmetics brand Astor, for which she sets artistic direction and designs new products and fashion forward color collections. In October 2010, Klum parted ways with Victoria’s Secret after 13 years of working with the brand.
She provided a simple explanation in her official statement, stating: “All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria and never tell her secret. It’s been an absolute amazing time!”
Heidi Klum Project Runway
In December 2004, Klum became the host, judge and executive producer of the reality show Project Runway on the U.S. cable television channel Bravo (airing on Lifetime television beginning in 2009), in which fashion designers compete for the opportunity to show their line at New York Fashion Week and receive money to launch their own fashion line.
She received an Emmy Award nomination for the show for each of the first four seasons. In 2008, Klum and Project Runway received a Peabody Award, the first time a reality show won the award. Klum was nominated for an Emmy in 2008 for “outstanding host of a reality or reality-competition show” for Project Runway, the first year that category was recognized by the Emmys.
Klum has been the host, judge and co-producer of Germany’s Next Topmodel, the German version of the internationally successful reality television show, since 2006. All twelve seasons aired on the German TV station ProSieben. In 2013, Klum, along with her co-host Tim Gunn won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.
Heidi Klum Clothing Line
Since ending her 13-year run as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Klum has become more of a businesswoman than a model. She partnered with New Balance and Amazon.com to launch a clothing line and signed a 20-episode deal to host a new show on Lifetime, called Seriously Funny Kids.
In fact, some noted fashion designers have long been commenting on Klum’s limited role as a fashion model. Karl Lagerfeld, for example, in 2009 agreed with German designer Wolfgang Joop, who called Klum after she had posed naked on the cover of the German edition of GQ magazine, “no runway model. She is simply too heavy and has too big a bust”.
Lagerfeld observed that neither he nor Claudia Schiffer knew Klum, as she has never worked in Paris and was insignificant in the world of fashion, being “more bling bling and glamorous than current fashion.” Klum designed clothing lines (one for men), featured in the German mail-order catalog “Otto”.
She designed shoes for Birkenstock, jewelry for Mouawad, a clothing line for Jordache, and swimsuits – featured in the 2002 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was one of the designers of the Victoria’s Secret lingerie line “The Body”, named after the nickname she received following her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show appearance.
Her Mouawad jewelry collection debuted on the cable shopping network QVC on 14 September 2006, and 14 of the 16 styles sold out after 36 minutes. Klum’s clothing line for Jordache launched on 30 April 2008.

Heidi Klum Halloween Costumes
Heidi Klum was only 27 years old when she hosted her first Halloween party, and in the 17 years since,the model has become the queen of Halloween costumes. Here is a collection of her costumes since 2000;
Heidi Klum Diet
Breakfast: 3 organic scrambled egg whites with spinach, green peppers, spring onions and parsley, a small bowl of fresh fruit and tea without milk.
Lunch: 170g of turkey with 90g basmati rice or 170g quinoa and stir-fried vegetables.
Dinner: 170g of salmon with lemon and garlic and a mixed green salad with broccoli florets and cucumber dressed with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Dessert: Yogurt, fresh sorbet, or 70% cocoa dark chocolate.
One of Heidi’s secrets to staying in such great shape? She incorporates exercise into her daily routine. Heidi worked out with New York City trainer David Kirsch for years (he helped her drop the weight after she gave birth to each of her kids), but she no longer sticks to a structured workout plan.
“I have a treadmill that’s really great, but it just sits there unused. It looks nice, but I don’t have time to use it.”
To slip fitness into her jam-packed schedule, she makes family time double as exercise. She walks her dogs, rides her bike near the beach in Santa Monica while her kids ride along on their bikes, and jumps around with them on the trampoline.
Breakfast: 2 or 3 organic scrambled egg whites with spinach, green peppers, spring onions and parsley with added feta or mozzarella and tea with milk.
Lunch: 170g of chicken stir-fried and vegetables with 90g of basmati rice and a mixed-leaf salad with ½tbsp of olive oil.
Dinner: 170g grilled chicken marinated in lime juice and parsley with a rocket salad dressed with ½ a tablespoon of olive oil and a tea without milk.
Snack: 150g plain Greek yogurt.
She’s also a fan of cooking simple, healthy meals to stay in shape. Every week, Heidi whips up a big pot of soup, and the children help with the peeling and chopping.
“They see how things are done and what goes into it. Someone doesn’t just drop it off in a [delivery] bag.”
Breakfast: 2 runny eggs topped with ½ a tablespoon of homemade salsa and sprouted grain bread.
Lunch: 170g of scallops sautéed with spring onions, minced garlic, and fresh parsley, green beans and a rocket, chicory and radicchio salad with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Dinner: 170g grilled chicken, pan-tossed zucchini, kale, onions, and tomatoes with a mixed baby green salad dressed with ½ a tablespoon of olive oil.
Snack: 1 organic pear with 8 raw cashew nuts.
Heidi’s busy lifestyle dictates that lunch is often eaten on set, and a trip to the catering table can mean navigating a minefield of refined carbs.
Of course, even Heidi Klum makes exceptions. And when she splurges, she makes sure it’s worth it. “[I was] out to dinner this weekend, and truffles are in season. I had to have the truffle pizza and the truffle pasta. It’s not like I don’t [indulge], but not all the time.”
Breakfast: Superfood smoothie made with chia. maca or acaii powder, blueberries and whey protein
Lunch: 170g grilled tuna with 90g of brown rice and roasted vegetables
Dinner: A sushi roll with a large hijiki seaweed salad and edamame beans without soy sauce.
Snack: An organic hard-boiled egg.
The secret to such an envy-inducing body at 44? Heidi starts the day with a veggie- and fruit-packed breakfast as an insurance policy to guarantee she gets in her vitamins and fiber before the day becomes too hectic.
“One thing [the kids and I] do is have a smoothie every morning,” she says. She has cut-up produce in the fridge, ready to go at 6 a.m.—when her morning routine starts—so there are no excuses.
Breakfast: 2 or 3 egg whites scrambled with red and green peppers and onions.
Lunch: 70g of salmon with green beans, cucumbers, and tomatoes on a bed of greens, steamed cauliflower and Brussels sprouts dressed with 2 tbsp of olive oil.
Dinner: 170g of roasted duck with steamed or stir fried vegetables such as spinach or kale.
Snacks: A green juice with organic spinach, kale, cucumber, and ½ carrot or a fresh fruit salad with half a grapefruit, cherries, nectarines, blueberries and strawberries.

Heidi Klum Interview
HELLO!: First, I saw about 30 minutes ago you posed naked in your room.
Heidi Klum: “Oh yea, that was such a nice sunset. A friend took the photo. We had the most gorgeous room up there, then the sunset. I had to do it.”
As you get older are you more confident?
“To be honest, I was always pretty confident. I think because I danced 15 years. I’ve always been on the stage dancing. I started when I was very young. My daughter [Leni] is doing the same thing now. She dances three times a week, 15 hours a week. I used to love dancing too, and I think being on the stage from an early age, I don’t know, I was always a confident girl.”
I’m sure you are teaching that to your kids.
“I do, I try. I think we should all have more confidence. You have to sometimes push yourself a little more.”
Leni is 14. Do you ever see her following in your footsteps?
“She wants to dance right now. I’m letting her do what she wants to do. I’m not putting any seeds in my kids’ heads of what they should do. I want them to come up with their own things. They are not really stage kids. For example, my oldest son is 12; he’s turning 13. I think he has his dad’s voice. It has that husky, sexy kind of voice that Seal has. I’m always like Henry, you have such a beautiful voice, but he doesn’t want to. He loves sports.”
And if [Leni] in two years did want to become say, the next Kaia…
“If they ask me one day, and they want to pursue it, I’m going to look into a modeling agency for them, but no one is asking.”
Could you see yourself managing?
“I think you naturally do when you’re a mom, and you’ve been in the industry. I’ve learned so much. I’ve been doing it for over 25 years.”
You’ve also seamlessly gone from model to designer of clothes, intimates and swimsuits – we loved the one from today!
“I love designing. It came full circle. I feel like I do the things now I’ve always wanted to do. I started with lingerie. [The swimsuit from earlier] was a stripe. In terms of color, I saw it in my travels, and I thought it was a really cute color combination. I also do conservative things as well because I want to have a wide range for everyone. The hardest thing for me is to do one pieces because I’m not a one piece kind of girl.
You’re more a topless gal!
[Laughs] “I’m more topless or string bikinis. That’s just the way I am, I’m always going to be that way. I’ve never liked them but I know there are a lot of women who want it.”
What do you see yourself designing next?
“I have a line for Lidl! It’s one of the biggest supermarket chains. I’m in 10,000 stores in 32 countries. It’s a supermarket. You can buy your eggs, your milk, your dishwashing liquid and my line!”
You’ve also been busy with America’s Got Talent.
“I count my blessings all the time because I get to do this really fun job. I love Mel. I knew Mel before. I know Howie from before. I only just met Simon when he joined. And I worked with Tyra for so many years when we did Victoria’s Secret together. I love Tyra.”
Though you’re busy with AGT, any family summer plans?
“I have some of my kids in camp already in New Hampshire. They went last year for the first time. I didn’t understand the concept of camp, but now my kids are American kids with American friends. They are all going to camp. My other two go in the city because they aren’t wanting to sleep over yet.”
So what do you think of camp?
“To be honest, it is amazing. When they come back, they are different kids in terms of they are more self-sufficient in a way. I think it makes them put their foot into their own life because I’m quite a helicopter parent. I’m very protective. It’s a bit of freedom for them that I have to start at one point giving them. They don’t have a phone. It’s great for two weeks to not have that. It’s good for their brain, being in the woods.”
Is it good for mom too?
“It’s a bit sad for me because I’m not used to it. I email and they email me back.”

Heidi Klum, 45, and her 29-year-old fiance Tom Kaulitz kiss and cuddle as they enjoy retail some therapy
Updated on: 13 January 2019.
They simply can’t keep their hands – or their lips – off one another.
Heidi Klum and fiance Tom Kaulitz piled on the PDA as they left a shopping mall in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The couple, who got engaged on Christmas Eve, cuddled up and kissed as they strolled away from a parking lot.
The model-turned-TV host, 45, looked typically stylish in a black and white graphic pattern dress with a long black cardigan and black, lace-up, ankle boots.
Her beau, 29, was more colorfully dressed in a green sweatshirt with the work ‘future’ on the front along with an image of a flying saucer. He teamed it with baggy brown pants and white sneakers.
They’ve been very open about their love since they became an item in mid-March and are frequently spotted locking lips, most notably on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills earlier this month.
In December they shared a sensuous black and white Instagram snap of themselves in bed with Heidi laying on Tom’s chest. She captioned it, simply: ‘BLISS’ with smiley face and heart emojis
The pair, who both hail from Germany, were first spotted hanging out in Pasadena, east of Los Angeles, where she was filming America’s Got Talent. And their romance has been going strong ever since.
Heidi recently hit back over negative comments about her being with a man who is 17 years younger than her.
Talking to InStyle, she said: ‘I don’t really think about it [the age gap] that much.
‘You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.’
Meanwhile Heidi shares three children – Henry, 13, Johan, 12, and daughter Lou, eight – with her ex-husband Seal, who also adopted her daughter Helene, 14.
The friendly exes often reunite for family days with their crew.
