The character’s backstory was changed to accommodate Smith’s Scottish accent. Smith finished filming on Neighbours in 2012. Since then, he has appeared in the feature films such as Unbroken and the historical dramas Banished and Vikings.

Jordan Patrick Smith accidentally punched a girl when filming Vikings fight scene. Vikings is known for its violence and gore, especially in the past season where warriors battled it out on English turf in the name of Ragnar Lothbrock.
So it’s no wonder that behind the scenes might get a little bit dangerous from time to time. Ubbe star Jordan Patrick Smith opened up on the time he accidentally punched a girl in the face while filming one of the show’s infamous battle scenes. He said: ‘There’s always mistakes.
The only person I have ever hurt was unfortunately a young girl.’ The 29-year-old paused for a second as he cringed over the thought, before letting out a nervous laugh. He got her ‘right between the eyes’. Explaining what had happened, he continued: ‘I was supposed to punch her in the face with the back of a sword.
‘She was supposed to go right, and I was supposed to go left, but I went right and she went right and I got her straight in between the eyes.’ Ouch! Her reaction apparently wasn’t all too good, as Jordan grimaced: ‘I could see the eyes starting to wobble and I was like, “gosh she’s not going too well.”’
The former Neighbours star revealed that the cast train for around up to four times a day for six weeks before they film the fight scenes. Giving us an insight into what’s to come in season 5B, he teased: ‘We practise a lot – there’s a big fight between me and a guy that’s about eight-foot-tall and it’s the biggest fight I have ever done in my life.
‘It took us a day and a half to shoot and it’s on the screen for about three minutes.’ He added: ‘It starts all big and epic but it goes on to get all tight and personal and yeah, that day I had bruised ribs and a black eye – he punched me twice in the jaw!
