Lauren Simon Interview
Lauren Simon News: Lauren Simon, 46, prepares to date again after her brutal divorce.
She has revamped her career and now she is preparing to reenter the dating scene after coming through the other side of a tumultuous divorce.
And in a bid to ensure she is looking and feeling her best, Lauren Simon has undergone a dramatic anti-ageing face lift.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 46, enlisted the help of local anti-ageing specialist Dr Martin Kinsella to help her knock years off her ‘tired’ face.
Lauren, who shot to fame on the hit ITVBe show and has an estimated £6.9million fortune, recently divorced her husband of 10 years, millionaire Paul Simon.
Now, the mother-of-two has undergone a dramatic makeover thanks with a ‘Silhouette Soft’ procedure, a non-surgical face lift to shift the excess skin on her chin and jowl area.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Lauren said: ‘At my age you’re constantly looking in the mirror and, working with lots of younger girls, I wanted to look younger.
‘I’ve always had quite a long shaped face, as I’ve got older I’ve had Botox and a little bit of filler. I’ve never like the shape of my face [but now] I’ve had 1cm lifted and I have a heart-shaped face.
‘I didn’t realise how bad [my jawline] was until I saw the pictures afterwards.’
Now Lauren, who is delighted with her new youthful appearance, has revealed the other reason she wanted to revamp her complexion; to look good on camera.
Speaking about her whirlwind dating life, she revealed: ‘I met a guy the other week and he said I looked 29, and I thought, I’ll take that.
‘I’m having fun and going out with lots of different people – but I’m never getting married again.’
The 45-minute procedure uses dissolvable stitches designed to redefine the face by reducing sagging and jowling.
It uses tiny dots of local anesthetic to numb the skin, and promises natural-looking results in just an hour.
Lauren’s ageing skin was both lifted and ‘revolumised’ during the procedure, which involves boosting collagen production.
The television personality, who owns property in Cheshire and Marbella, told MailOnline FEMAIL: ‘I’m too young for a surgical face lift but felt I wanted something more than just Botox, which really doesn’t address the areas of the face which concerned me the most.’
Commenting on the procedure, the former PR and marketing guru added: ‘It was relatively quick and easy, and I’m really pleased with the results. I just look fresher and more youthful which in turn has made me feel more confident again.’
Martin Kinsella, who is based at the Re-enhance Medical Clinic, added: ‘What makes Silhouette Soft’s pioneering technology unique are the bi-directional cones on the absorbable sutures (threads).
‘Polylactic acid (PLA), the principal component of the suture and the cones is a polymer known in the medical field for many years as it is also used for dissolvable stitches.
‘Unlike a surgical facelift no skin is cut away and these sutures dissolve within weeks leaving no trace, apart from the collagen they stimulate.’
The glamorous reality star has been slowly getting her life back on track, and in a bid to prove she doesn’t need to be ‘tied to a man’ to survive, she recently launched her own luxury perfume, Lauren Stone Number One.
