Linda Lusardi Biography
Linda Lusardi born Linda Frances Elide Lusardi, is an English actress, television presenter and a model. She was born on 18 September 1958 in Wood Green, London to Lilian and Nello Lusardi.
Linda Lusardi began her modelling career in The Sun in 1976 at the age of 18. She was best known for a modeling career in the 80’s and 90’s but now her career spans the world of stage, film and television.
On film, Lusardi has appeared in movies including Snappers, The Zero Imperative, Oh Minnie and Consuming Passions.
On stage, Lusardi has starred as Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion at the Malvern Festival and toured in Happy as A Sandbag, Funny Peculiar, Bedside Manners, Not Now Darling, Rock with Laughter, No Sex Please We’re British Doctor on The Boil.
Linda has been starring in Panto ever since 1988. She is a supporter of UK pantomime and often stars with her husband Sam Kane each Christmas at major theatres in the UK. Lusardi has starred in over 25 pantomimes.
Linda Lusardi’s presenting credits include her own fitness slot on GMTV, a regular guest presenter on Wish You Were Here, two series of A Kind of Magic and her own ITV late night chat show called It’s Bizarre. Linda has appeared on the Royal Variety Show and has taken her own show to the British Forces overseas and was thrilled to be invited for tea with the Prime Minister at No 10 .
Linda plays an active role in two of her favourite charities. The Willow Foundation which is a charity that funds and organises special days for seriously ill young adults and the Rhys Daniels Trust which aims to provide ‘Home from Home’ accommodation, in support of major children’s hospitals.

Linda Lusardi Daughter
Her daughter Lucy was born in September 1996. She is a model and aspiring singer. She made headlines after appearing on this year’s series of The Voice, where she wowed judges with her cover of The Shirelles’ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
She began modelling full-time after giving up a job at a Hertfordshire salon. Like Linda, she has posed for Page 3, though she joked: “I don’t have the assets for it like my mum.” She has also appeared in Vogue and the Argos catalogue.

Linda opted for hysterectomy – the removal of her uterus – after doctors found a five-pound tumour on the wall her womb.
The grapefruit-sized growth turned out to be a benign cyst, but Linda said the operation was the best thing she’s ever done.
She said: “All the side effects have been positive. I lose weight straight away — about seven pounds.
“My legs have become slimmer and I’ve got the flattest stomach I’ve ever had.”

Dancing on Ice
Linda appeared in ITV’s Dancing on Ice. She joined ITV’s Dancing On Ice in January 2008. She broke her foot in training but still managed to compete until week 7. She loved the experience so much she jumped at the chance to join the national tour around the country with Torvill & Dean. She finished in sixth place with her professional skating partner, Daniel Whiston.
Linda played Carrie Nichols in ITV’s hit serial drama Emmerdale being brought in to one of the shows highest profile storylines, “Who killed Tom King?” in 2007 for one year. She joined Emmerdale on 12 February 2007 and left the programme after a year.
Linda played Maggie Lyons in The Bill opposite Billy Murray’s dodgy Don Beech in an extended storyline over 10 episodes.
Linda surprised the British public competing in The Games for Channel 4. Not only was she 15 years older than her competitors but she was the onlyone with two children.
