Louis Tomlinson (full name; Louis William Tomlinson ) is an English singer-songwriter, actor television personality and born on 24th December 1991 in Doncaster, United Kingdom. He is a member of the boy band One Direction. In 2018 he joined the panel of X-Factor as a judge for the 2018 series.
Louis began his career as an actor as an extra on the drama Fat Friends, as well as small roles in ITV dramas and Waterloo Road. Since he was young he had an interest in music and as a student at Hall Cross he appeared in several musical productions. He was the led role of Danny Zuko in the Hall Cross musical production of Grease.’
In 2009 he auditioned for ‘The X Factor’. He failed to progress to the “Boys” category at judges’ houses but, after a suggestion from Nicole Scherzinger, a guest judge, during the bootcamp stage of the competition at Wembley Arena, London in July 2010, he was put together with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles to form a five-piece boy band, thus qualifying for the “Groups” category. The group was put together for two weeks to get to know each other and to practice. Styles came up with the name One Direction. One direction finished in third place but they were signed by Simon Cowell.

Louis Tomlinson Just Hold On
Just Hold On is a collaborative single with American DJ Steve Aoki which was released on 10th December 2016. Tomlinson and Aoki performed the song live for the first time on The X Factor UK season finale on the day of its release. Tomlinson dedicated the song and performance to his late mother.

Louise Tomlinson Nominated for National Television Award for His Role as a Judge on the X-Factor
Doncaster pop and TV star Louis Tomlinson has been nominated for a prestigious National Television Award.
The former One Direction star has been shortlisted in the Best TV judge category for the awards which will be broadcast live on ITV on January 22.
The 27-year-old has carved out a new career for himself as a judge on The X-Factor – and will go head to head with his’ boss’ Simon Cowell for the award.
Fellow pop star and X-Factor judge Robbie Williams is also one of the contenders while Judge Rinder star Robert Rinder and Britain’s Got Talent favourite David Walliams are also in the mix.
The singer, who hails from Bessacarr, found fame on the show with One Direction and returned as a judge for its most recent series.
