She began her career at RTBF by presenting Tu passe when you want with David Antoine in 2003.Later she replaced Corinne Boulangier and went on to host the animation of Génies en herbe , first with Thomas Van Hamme and then with Jonathan Bradfer.
She co-hosted the 2005 Eurovision Junior on her trip to Belgium, in collaboration with Marcel Vanthilt of the VRT . She was the one that revealed the Belgian results to Eurovision .
Since 2005, she has hosted the show Les Cinglés du record, which is broadcasted on Télétoon France and on Télévision suisse romande , and since that year she has also hosts Yparaikanoël , which is broadcasted in December, with Jérémy Ganneval . The RTBF host has made a special Who’s that dog collection so that our four-legged friends can also support the Red Devils!

Thanks to the ephemeral Red Dog collection by Who’s that dog (www.whosthatdog.be), created by RTBF host Maureen Louys, our four-legged friends will be able to support the Red Devils by wearing necklaces, butterflies and scarves in black-yellow-red colors. ” The idea is that the style of the dog is quite fitting with that of his master, ” said Maureen Louys who found inspiration in a meeting with the stars of the ball. “We had the opportunity to meet the Red Devils during the filming of several summer capsules for the RTBF. It was great fun because we had to draw them mascots. I remember teaming up with Marouane Fellaini. It is this experience that made me want to make this special collection Mondial 2018. Question: When did you start the dog accessories business?
Maureen: “A little over two years ago, I was looking for accessories for Juliette, my ten-year-old dachshund, and I could not find what I wanted, dog accessories are quite limited. That’s why I thought: why not do it myself, especially since I’ve always loved sewing.Well, the first draft was laborious! (laughs) But, I So I started my collection with Scottish bow ties to the old England side.As I create items, I show them to my entourage: my sister, my mom and Raph, my companion. They give me their opinions and, depending on that, I put them on my website. ”
Question: Where does this interest in sewing come from?
Maureen: “We’re all textbooks in the family, proof with my sister who creates her own jewelry, my grandmother was a seamstress, she taught me a lot of things, and at school I had a little machine with which I made small clothes for my dolls.Then, I made costumes for my childhood friends. ”
Question: Like your sister Barbara Louys, would you like to open your own shop?
Maureen: “Yes, of course, for the moment, I propose an online shop and I participate in a lot of shows and garden fairs.I go to these events at the wheel of an old Volkswagen van where I expose all my accessories. In the future, I would like to have my own shop, especially since I love talking with other people who are passionate about dogs. ”
Question: Have you always had a pet dog?
Maureen: “ALWAYS When I was little, I had a Bouvier des Flandres, then a white Maltese bichon, and finally, some hard-haired dachshunds called Juliette and Sidonie. mustache (laughs) They are very sticky, and I know a lot about how they could accept the presence of a future baby because it’s in our projects with Raph, I think there’s really a way to do that without rushing them in. Maureen: “Also, when Juliette was a baby, I took her with me to RTBF, she was in a small cage and did not bother anyone, in fact she was part of the team, and then someone complained and I was not able to take her with me anymore, but at the Belgium TV show Eurovision, she took the radio with Gérald and me. ”
Question: Have you ever thought of stopping your media activity to focus on Who’s That Dog?
Maureen: “No, just because I could not do without either of them I have a good organization On May 10, I finished my television season with Eurovision. the shooting of some interpubs for the RTBF, I devote myself totally to the creation of dog accessories.It takes me a lot of time. I take advantage of the holidays to present my products at outdoor events for dogs.I will not start preparing the back TV only from the months of July and August. ”

Maureen: “I keep my fingers crossed so that my activities remain the same at RTBF It was an exceptional year, for example, it was my best season for The Voice Belgium, the talents were incredible and the bench of coaches perfect! challenge for the eighth season? Try to do even better! ”
