Paul Pogba Profile
Paul Pogba (Paul Labile Pogba) is a French professional footballer born on 15th March 1993 in Lagny-sur-Marne, France. He plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the French national team. During the 2014 FIFA World Cup he was awarded the Best Young Player Award for his performances.
After beginning his senior career with Manchester United two years later, limited appearances forced him to depart to join Italian side Juventus on a free transfer in 2012, and helped the club to four consecutive Serie A titles, as well as two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.
During his time in Italy, Pogba established himself as one of the most promising young players in the world, and received the Golden Boy award in 2013, followed by the Bravo Award in 2014, while also being named by The Guardian as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe. In 2016, Pogba was named to the 2015 UEFA Team of the Year, as well as the 2015 FIFA FIFPro World XI, after helping Juventus to the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final, their first in 12 years. Pogba’s performances at Juventus allowed him to return to Manchester United in 2016 for a then-world record transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million). The fee also remains the highest paid by or involving an English club.
Internationally, at under-20 level, he captained France to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup and took home the award for the Best Player for his performances during the tournament. He made his debut for the senior French national team on 22 March 2013 in a 3–1 win against Georgia, and scored his first World Cup goal on 30 June 2014 against Nigeria; he was awarded the Best Young Player Award for his performances at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, after reaching the quarter-final. He later represented his nation at UEFA Euro 2016 on home soil, where he scored one goal as his team reached the final.

Pogba, who earns £290,000 per week, saved himself a little over a fortnights-worth of the wages he has been earning since returning to Old Trafford in an £89m move from Juventus last summer. The secluded, security-gated property, in one of the north west’s most affluent neighbourhoods, is believed to be a former home of ex-United striker Javier Hernandez – now of Bayer Leverkusen and his sister Ana.
It boasts a tailor-made kitchen, giants hedges to protect the 23-year-old’s privacy, and a leisure suite complete with pool table.
There’s also a balcony and a double garage to house the midfielder’s top-of-the-range cars. After returning from Turin, Pogba initially moved into Manchester’s luxury Lowry Hotel, where he could count manager Jose Mourinho among his ‘neighbours’.

Manchester United star Paul Pogba is known for two things; dabbing after every goal scored and those ridiculous hairstyles. The former Juventus player is yet to score or assist for new club Manchester United this season after four games but he unleashes a new hairstyle almost every week.
- The star: Paul Pogba is a star for sure but the Frenchman once went further to tell everyone that he is truly a special footballer. The Man Utd star spotted this hairstyle during his time at Juventus.
- The leopard skin: One of the most infamous from Pogba. Why he went with the hairstyle confuses many but maybe the midfielder wanted to be as fast and agile as a leopard.
- Am Batman: “Am Batman” is one of the most memorable our favorite caped crusader/dark knight has ever said when asked by an henchman who he was. Maybe Pogba felt a connected and decided to go full scale dark knight.
- Football is music to the best: Pogba loves music…if he doesn’t why does he dab like Migos and Olamide? The Frenchman who loves to caress the ball and do tricks which are music to the eyes decided to rock the mic.
- Its a bird, its a plane, its Pogba: “Its a bird, its a plane, its Superman” or maybe its now “its a bird, its a plane, its Pogba” after the midfielder sported an hairstyle with a bird on one side and Pogboom on the other side ahead of Euro 2016.
- Pogback: When Pogba returned to Man United late in the summer he came fresh outta the block with a simple blonde hair. Maybe going blonde like Messi, Aaron Ramsey and Phil Jones isn’t a bad idea.
Paul Pogba Transfer To Man Utd
Manchester United signed Paul Pogba in a world record transfer in August 2016. The France International came through United’s academy and moved to Italian team Juventus. He finally rejoined United for £89m in the summer transfer window of 2016.

Man Utd transfer news: Jose Mourinho to offer shock Paul Pogba swap to Barcelona – report
express – Jun 22, 2018
France international Pogba struggled to impress under Jose Mourinho this season, with the £89m midfielder having numerous bust-ups with the Special One. Mourinho axed the former Juventus ace from his starting line-up after a poor run of form. Pogba, 25, has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit in recent weeks, with Barcelona and Real Madrid said to be tracking the United star.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Mourinho is willing to include Pogba in a stunning swap deal for Barca midfielder Rakitic. They say the United boss is desperate to sign the Croatia international this summer – and he’s happy to lose Pogba in the process. Don Balon add that Mourinho’s relationship with Pogba may be beyond repair, which has led to the United boss deciding to axe his star man. Pogba has been vocal on Mourinho and his United future in recent weeks, with the midfielder refusing to rule out an exit.
“He [Mourinho] put me on the bench, I answered on the pitch, I give my maximum every time,” he said.
“There are times when I wasn’t playing. I was on the bench. Much has been spoken about.
“People thought it was wrong but a coach and player don’t have to be best friends.
“One is not forced to go to the restaurant together. I had some problems, it’s [a] mental [problem].
“It made me grow in leadership. I had the armband with Mourinho, it was the first time in a club.
“It’s important to me, it makes me grow up to be as a leader in the France team.
“Stay at United? You’re never sure of anything. Contractually, it’s on, yes.
“Walking on the Parc des Princes? With a club, no for sure. Honestly, it doesn’t appeal to me.
“I grew up here, my father was a supporting Marseille and so did my mum. Paris wasn’t really in my daily life.”
Paul Pogba Named to France’s Full 2018 World Cup Provisional Squad Roster
May 17, 2018
Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann were among the 23 players named by France manager Didier Deschamps in his provisional squad for the 2018 World Cup, but there was no place for Pogba’s Manchester United team-mate Anthony Martial.
Les Bleus announced the squad on Thursday:

Martial will have to settle for a place in Deschamps’ reserve list, along with Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette and Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.
France’s official Twitter account shared the full list of reserves:

For any who haven’t paid close attention to Ligue 1 this season, Florian Thauvin’s inclusion ahead of Martial could raise some eyebrows, but the Marseille man has racked up 26 goals and 18 assists in all competitions this season to the United star’s 11 and nine. Thomas Lemar—who has scored just three times for Monaco this year—is more of a surprise after his drop-off in form. For Martial, his lack of regular game time has proved costly, having made just six appearances for the Red Devils since February.
ESPN’s Rob Dawson and football writer Ryan Baldi believe the omission could put his United future in jeopardy:
Anthony Martial not in the France squad for the World Cup. You can understand why he might want more regular first-team football.
— Rob Dawson (@RobDawsonESPN) May 17, 2018
Martial not in the France squad. Nail in the coffin for his time at United?
— Ryan Baldi (@RyanBaldiFW) May 17, 2018
Lacazette can count himself unfortunate after he scored 17 goals for Arsenal, including eight in his last 10 games. But with the strength of competition for places in forward areas, it is not too surprising he missed out.
So too did Dimitri Payet, perhaps as a result of his limping out of Wednesday’s UEFA Europa League final.
ESPN FC’s Jonathan Johnson was not surprised by Adrien Rabiot’s omission:
— Jonathan Johnson (@Jon_LeGossip) May 17, 2018
I understand there will be a lot of surprise re: Rabiot being left out by Didier Deschamps. However, if you have really watched PSG post-Madrid, this will not be such a shock. He has dropped off massively & I have been suggesting that this could happen for weeks. #EDF #LesBleus

Alphonse Areola and Steve Mandanda will provide back-up for Hugo Lloris in goal, while Benjamin Mendy—who has made just three substitute appearances for Manchester City since September—was included among the defenders, who also included Raphael Varane, Samuel Umtiti and Presnel Kimpembe. In midfield, N’Golo Kante, Corentin Tolisso, Blaise Matuidi and Steven N’Zonzi will vie for a place in the side alongside Pogba.
