PewDiePie (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) is a Swedish YouTuber, comedian, and video game player-commentator.
He is best known for his YouTube video content which has mainly consisted of Let’s Play commentaries, vlogs, and comedic formatted shows.
He originally pursued a degree in industrial economics and technology management at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
During his time at the university in 2010 he registered a YouTube account under the name PewDiePie and the following year, he dropped out of Chalmers after losing interest in his degree field, much to the dismay of his parents.
Later after he failed to earn an apprenticeship with an advertising agency in Scandinavia, he then decided to focus on creating content for his YouTube channel.
PewDiePie is 29 years old as of 2018. He was born in October 1989.
PewDiePie is dating Marzia Bisognin, an Italian former YouTube personality, formerly known on the website as CutiePieMarzia. They were introduced to each other through a friend of Bisognin’s in 2011 and later after establishing an online friendship, PewDiePie flew to Italy to meet her.
On 27 April 2018, Marzia announced on Instagram that he proposed to her while on a trip to Yokohama, Japan.
On Aug. 20, 2019, PewDiePie announced on Twitter that he had married his longtime love and former beauty vlogger Marzia Bisognin.
“We are married!!!” he wrote, sharing several pictures from the big day. “I’m the happiest I can be. I’m so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman.”
“Yesterday, the 19th of August—after exactly 8 years since we met—we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends and family,” Marzia shared on Instagram. “It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever.”
“I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage,” she continued. “I feel like I’m the luckiest person and I’m so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives.”

PewDiePie Married: YouTube Star Reveals He’s Wed Marzia Bisognin After 8 Years Together
“We are married!!! I’m the happiest I can be,” Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, tweeted on Aug. 20, one day after he tied the knot.
In the tweet, the YouTube superstar shared pictures of his gorgeous bride, Marzia Bisognin, 26, from their breathtaking wedding. One photo showed the two looking lovingly into each other eyes, while another had them walk past all their wedding guests (while, it appears, they blew bubbles at the newly minted Mr. & Mrs.)
The other photos showed the new couple posing after tying the knot. “I’m so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman,” PewDiePie added.
While Felix didn’t say much about his matrimony, his new bride went into a little more detail on her Instagram account. “Yesterday, the 19th of August – after exactly 8 years since we met – we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends and family,” Marzia captioned an IG post with more pictures from her big day. “It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever.”
“I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage,” she added. “I feel like I’m the luckiest person and I’m so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives.”
