The powerful Belgian striker joined Manchester United from Everton for £75million in summer 2017, when many thought he would be returning to Chelsea. Trusted by Jose Mourinho, he has repaid the faith with an excellent goalscoring debut season at Old Trafford.

Manchester United explain Romelu Lukaku FA Cup final decision
Updated: 19 May 2018
Jose Mourinho has revealed Romelu Lukaku ‘was not ready’ to start for Manchester United in their FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The Belgian forward – United’s top scorer this season – has been named on the bench for the Reds’ Wembley showdown following a recent ankle injury.
Marcus Rashford spearheads the attack for the Reds with Lukaku not fully recovered after the injury he suffered in the Premier League win over Arsenal last month.
It is a concern for United, who have scored just once in three games since the 25-year-old was sidelined.
And speaking ahead of the game Mourinho confirmed Lukaku was not fit enough to start the match – and says he has faith in Rashford to step up and fill the void.
“We made the decision Romelu Lukaku is not ready to start, maybe he is ready to give us a little help,” Mourinho said.
