Romelu Lukaku Biography
Romelu Lukaku (Romelu Menama Lukaku Bolingoli) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Inter Milan and the Belgium national team. Lukaku began his professional career at Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht in 2009, where he made his senior debut, at age 16. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, he finished as the joint second-highest goalscorer after helping Belgium to a third-place finish and won the Bronze Boot Award.
He is one of only five players to have scored 50 Premier League goals before their 23rd birthday, and the fifth youngest to have scored 100 goals in the competition. The Belgian star began his career with local side Rupel Boom when he was just six, before joining Lierse.
He earned a move to Anderlecht of the Belgian Pro League in 2006 from his former club, Lierse. Since then he has earned himself transfers to Premier League club Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and in 2017 he joined Manchester United.
