Sophie Monk Plastic Surgery
‘I should have said no, but I trusted the doctor’: Sophie Monk reveals her regret over cosmetic surgery
Australian actress Sophie Monk has admitted she regrets succumbing to cosmetic surgery.
The 31-year-old, who moved from LA several years ago in search of a career in Hollywood, has for the first time admitted to having surgery ‘everywhere’.
She has had fillers in her lips and regular Botox injections around her forehead and eyes and is also said to have undergone a breast enlargement. The blonde, who has appeared in the comedies Click and Date Movie, says it all started when she had collagen injected into her lips following a botched removal of a cyst.
‘Half of my lip was removed with the cyst, and I was advised to get filler in my top lip to help balance it out,’ she told Australia’s Who magazine this week.

‘I should have said no to the filler in the first place but I trusted the doctor.’
It is unclear if her ex boyfriend, plastic surgeon Dr John Diaz, performed the procedure.
‘I’m so sick of people saying that just because of my lips, I’ve has surgery everywhere,’ she continued. Monk also admitted she has battled with unhealthy eating.
‘The stress of this business tends to come out through my body. Either I eat too much or I eat nothing. I need to be more responsible for my body,’ she said.
Who Is Sophie Monk Dating?
Monk announced her engagement to American businessman Jimmy Esebag, who is 20 years her senior, earlier this week. She told Who she has never been happier: ‘I know people are going to make remarks about us, but it doesn’t bother me.
‘I love everything about him. He’s given me a new perspective on life.’
Esebag is chairman of the board of America’s Licensing Holding Group, which owns the rights to the Playboy brand.
Monk began dating Esebag soon after her dramatic split from Diaz, whom she dated for over a year after first meeting in 2009. She was left broken-hearted last year when their relationship came to an end after she discovered the surgeon in bed with another woman.
Sophie rose to fame in Australia after winning the country’s version of American Idol. She then forged a career as an actress, moving to Los Angeles and becoming a close friend of Nicole Richie.

Another breakup? Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk could be axed from her presenting role… after Channel Nine insists they’ll ‘do things differently’ for season two
Daily mail – 16/7/2018
A Channel Nine program director said there were ‘things we’d do differently’ for the much-anticipated second season of Love Island Australia. And Sunday Confidential has claimed Sophie Monk could be axed from the series, as Nine and production company ITV are apparently on the hunt for a new host.
The publication claimed viewers and executives were not impressed by her stint in Mallorca, Spain, while presenting on the multi-channel show.
However, when the publication reached out for comment, both Nine and Sophie’s agent Titus Day denied the rumours the blonde would be replaced.
‘Sophie’s appearance on Love Island is exactly what we wanted and expected, and is in line with the format’s hosting duties as seen on the UK version,’ a network spokesman told Daily Mail Australia on Sunday.
‘Sophie is a treasured member of the Nine family and has a long term deal with the Network. She is currently filming a travel show for us in Italy and we look forward to working with her on various upcoming projects.’
Meanwhile, Sophie’s agent claimed she had signed on for a second season and wasn’t being replaced.
Channel Nine recently declared 9Go’s Love Island Australia a success thanks to the show’s youth engagement and popularity on YouTube.
And as the network negotiates with ITV for a second season, program director Hamish Turner revealed there are things he hopes to do ‘differently’ next time.
Hamish told Mumbrella: ‘I think there’s things we would do editorially different, there’s things we would do from a promotional perspective different.’
‘But overall the audience, the way they consume… that’s definitely key learnings for us in terms of what we would do to apply to a second season,’ he added.
While the Channel Nine executive acknowledged the multi-channel program requires work, he declared the show a success in the 16 to 39 demographic.
‘I know exactly what the expectations were for the show, and we delivered exactly what we thought we would on 16 to 39s in the linear space,’ he said in the interview.
Love Island Australia drew almost 200,000 viewers for its season finale on 9Go earlier this month.
The show attracted 180,000 subscribers on YouTube and generated a total of 150 million views, mostly from outside of Australia.
In the finale, which aired on Thursday night, winners Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp decided to split the $50,000 cash prize between themselves.
