Tomer (Gazit) Sisley was born on 14 August 1974 he is a French humorist, actor, screenwriter, comedian and film director. Sisley was born in West Berlin, West Germany. His parents were born in Israel, his grandparents in Lithuania, Belarus, and Yemen. His family is Jewish. His parents separated when he was five years old.
At 9 he left Berlin to live with his father in the south of France. At twelve, he already spoke 4 languages (German, Hebrew, French and English). His father, Joseph, was a scientist in dermatological research.

Sisley was the first French stand-up comedian to have won the Just for Laughs comedy festival, the biggest in the world, in 2003. He is considered the first comedian to introduce real stand-up comedy in France, where until then, the popular one-man shows used to portray mostly impressions and sketches.
In 2011, Sisley accepted the leading part in a low budget French film Sleepless Night. The movie was bought by Tribeca Films, Robert De Niro’s distribution company, and Warner Brothers bought the rights for a remake. The film showed at Tribeca Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, or Rome Film Festival.
In Largo Winch 2, 2011, he performed a fight while skydiving from a plane without a parachute. He is a horse rider, practiced 5 years of Krav Maga, and does Jiujitsu and boxing.

Also a comedian , he is known for his stand-up shows , which consist of speaking directly to the audience, pretending to be improvised and talking about various subjects. In 2004, he made the first part of Jamel Debbouze’s one-man-show .
He then co-wrote his first show with Philippe Mechelen and Kader Aoun , the latter also being the director of the show. In 2005, he participated in the show Fort Boyard ( Hanouna team ).
Now more comfortable in the comedian costume, he is the poster Largo Winch , Jerome Salle’s film . He plays the role of the main character Largo Winch and takes the role in the second part , released at the cinema in February 2011.
In October 2017, the YouTube account of Copycomic, an anonymous stand-up fan , publishes two comparative videos showing different loans from Tomer Sisley to twenty American comedians. These loans, translated, were then incorporated by the artist into his own stand-up shows .
The images show the striking resemblances between his show Stand-up (2006) and American comedians. Among plagiarized artists would include Robin Williams , Todd Glass (in) or Nick Swardson , their skits that were broadcast in Comedy Central Presents, an American television show between 1999 and 2003 4 .
