Garo is originally from northern California but later moved to Bay Shore, New York in 1995 to chase his designing dream. He showcased his design at Absolut Alternative Fashion Week. In the year 2000, he opened the Garo Sparo Boutique on St. Mark’s Place in Manhattan.
