Hal Williams is an American actor, best known for his appearance on Sanford and Son, on the NBC sitcom 227, Roots: The Next Generations, The Waltons, Harry O, and L.A. Law, and for displaying his comedic genius in The Sinbad Show.

In 1969 Williams started working in the acting industry. Since then he has starred in movies such as Hardcore by Paul Schrader, and Private Benjamin by Howard Zieff (he also played the role of Sgt L.C. “Ted” Ross in the same-name TV series), and The Rookie by Clint Eastwood.
