In 1969 Williams started working in the acting industry. Since then he has starred in movies such as Hardcore by Paul Schrader, and Private Benjamin by Howard Zieff (he also played the role of Sgt L.C. “Ted” Ross in the same-name TV series), and The Rookie by Clint Eastwood.
