Harry Giles born as Harry Lee Giles III is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the national basketball Association(NBA). He won the Jordan Brand Classic and Nike Hoop Summit awards in 2016.
He plays in the Power Forward/Center position and he was one of the top performers for Team USA at the U19 FIBA Americas Tournament in 2015.

He attended the Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina. In that year, Wesleyan Christian High School won the 2013 NCISSA 3A State Championship. The next year, he suffered a left knee injury and had to sit out the entire year.

After high school, he opted to commit to Duke University and made his first debut on December 19, 2016, in a win over Tennessee State. His first college career double-double came in a win over Georgia Tech where he scored 10 points and 12 rebounds. By the end of his freshman year, he had played a total of 26 games, averaging 3.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and .4 assists.

Giles decided to forego his remaining three years of his college career and entered the 2017 NBA Draft. He got selected as the 20th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers but was later traded to the Sacramento Kings. On July 8, 2017, he signed his rookie contract but had an injury that sidelined him till the turn of the year.
In 2018, he was prevented from seeing the action but asked to focus and major on training and injury prevention. He later took part in the 2018 NBA Summer League with the Sacramento Kings and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals in a game against the Phoenix Suns. Harry Giles came off the bench on Friday night to finish with 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in only 17 minutes. Giles went 7-for-13 from the field and showed some good defense from time to time on the Clippers’ bigs.
