- Send in Application Form and supporting documents:
As a first step in the application process, interested students are asked to submit a filled-in application form. Along with the duly completed and signed application form, the following documents need to be submitted:
- All sections:
- Copies/transcripts of school reports covering the applicant’s last three school years
- A copy of the applicant’s passport
- A handwritten personal statement including the applicant’s future goals
- A copy of the applicant’s vaccination certificate
- Four current passport pictures
- Certificates of examinations (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge etc) can be included, but are optional
In addition to the above, students wishing to apply for the Italian Section need to attach:
- Original Diploma di Licenza Media

- Arrange an Interview :
Upon receipt of the student’s application documents he or she will be contacted to arrange a time and date for the interview. While Rosenberg prefers to meet and speak to students in person, either during a campus visit or while traveling the student’s home country, skype interviews can be arranged whenever a personal meeting is not possible.
- Take Entrance Tests
Students wishing to enrol at the school’s International Section will be asked to take an entrance test in English and Mathematics to assess their academic aptitudes and identify the best level of entry into the Institut’s academic system.The school’s entrance tests are designed so they can assess students across all nationalities and scholastic backgrounds. Tests to join Institut auf dem Rosenberg’s International Section are conducted in English.
- Await the Results
Institut auf dem Rosenberg aims to inform applicants of the school’s decision within 10 days of having taken the entrance exams. Place offers extended by Institut auf dem Rosenberg are subject to the receipt of all required application documents, and places can only be guaranteed if the application is complete. If both parents and students have come to the conclusion that they have found the best boarding school fit for them, they are asked to confirm acceptance of the place within a given timeframe following which they will be sent an invoice for the acceptance deposit.

The basic tuition fees for boarders at Institut auf dem Rosenberg are CHF 84’000,- per annum . The fees includes: cost for tuition, i.e. classroom lessons according to the curriculum, boarding accommodation in a standard room, all meals for boarders, support and guidance through pedagogical staff, on-campus sport activities (e.g. football, basketball, volleyball, outdoor tennis, etc.), swimming at local in- and outdoor swimming pools, as well as free time and weekend activities like bowling or ice skating, for example. Extras like laundry expenses and private tuition are not included.

The camps offer language lessons from beginners to advanced in English, German and French, as well as lessons in other secondary school subjects.
