Baxter became intensely inspired in Bible prophecy at the age of 19 when a visiting evangelist taught that the four beasts of chapter four in the book of Revelation represented the four gospels, John, Luke, Mark, and Matthew.
He accepted this was incorrect, and in the following thirty days read the book of Revelation nineteen times. Baxter’s studies led him to devote considerable time to study Pentecostal and evangelical eschatology.
In 1986, he authored A Message for the President, in which he distinguished Russia, the United Kingdom, United States, and other present countries as being mentioned in the Bible.
He also said that the Berlin Wall would be torn down, (Germany) would be reunited and that these events would be the catalyst that would initiate a permanent New World Order.
In 1991, Baxter’s association started to publish Endtime Magazine. He published the book Mideast Treaty in 1994 about his predictions for the prophesied last seven years preceding the Battle of Armageddon. In 1995 he published a series of exercises aimed at lay readers’ titles Understanding the Endtime.
In 2001, Baxter has distributed two works of fiction: Third Temple and the China War depicts Baxter’s view of the near future and Dark Intentions (2004) which is a story of how the Antichrist, as a young boy, predicted world events in detail and utilized the knowledge to his advantage.
Baxter, as an Oneness Pentecostal, does not believe in the teaching of the Trinity. Oneness Pentecostalism prevents the personhood of God the Father and the God the Holy Spirit and denies the homoousios of God. Baxter has a show on Trinity Broadcasting Network.
