Bela over Yassi? Janella over Julia? Yamyam explains ideal leading lady picks
MANILA—What was supposed to be a simple game about who he would prefer as a his leading lady quickly turned into a lesson about which celebrity is related to who for Yamyam Gucong.
The winner of “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” found himself in the hot seat over his ideal actress on “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
He was made to choose between pairs and was pretty confused when the pictures of Bela Padilla and Yassi Pressman popped up.
He picked Padilla but for the wrong reason: he thought that she was the daughter of Robin Padilla, his acting idol.
After learning that Robin is Bela’s uncle, he quickly said: “Si Bela pa rin. Kasi napagkamalan ko siyang anak ni Robin.”
Gucong also seemed unsure about the relationship of Janella Salvador and Maja Salvador. Though this time, he choose to go with the safe answer of saying that they’re “magkamag-anak.”
He picked Janella over Julia Barretto.
On the topic of leading ladies, Gucong was also asked about whether his girlfriend would approve of him having one. He said that his partner is very understanding and even had a message for her.
“Huwag kang mag-aalala kasi sikat lang ako pero ang puso ko, ikaw pa rin ang alam,” he said.
Gucong won “PBB” last Sunday, winning P2 million. He acknowledged that he could’t sleep these past few days because he joked that he might wake up to find out that everything was just a dream.
