Speaking about his ex-partner’s relationship; David Bromstad was born in Cokato, Minnesota, in 1973. He studied graphic design at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. After graduating, he worked as an illustrator for Disney. In 2005, he was laid off from Disney and decided to pursue a career in interior design.
Bromstad entered the first season of HGTV Design Star in 2006. He quickly became a fan favorite with his flamboyant personality and creative designs.
